Emily Lohse-Busch
Vice President
Emily Lohse-Busch has dedicated her career to the strengthening of the nonprofit community throughout the country and internationally. Emily brings to her clients a wealth of experience in strategic and organizational planning, project management, fundraising and Board/governance development. She has a passion for helping each organization identify and strive to achieve their short- and long-term goals.
Emily most recently served as Executive Director for Arch Grants for just under five years, where she helped attract and retain extraordinary entrepreneurs to St. Louis, MO to build the future economy. During her tenure, she greatly expanded the Arch Grants program and more than doubled the organization’s budget, allowing her to lead the launch of several new initiatives to better advance the mission. Emily stepped down from the role at Arch Grants to consult within the nonprofit community full-time.
Fun Fact: Emily recently gave a TEDx Talk titled “Unreasonable Generosity” where she posited that we can transform communities, sectors and ultimately the world by making big bets on extraordinary people before it’s objectively “reasonable” to do so.
