Laura Edman joined the Alford Group in 2004 and has over 30 years of experience in fundraising leadership positions. She started her career at the University of Puget Sound and then spent 15 years with MultiCare Health System before joining Alford Group. Laura has partnered with clients up and down the West Coast, guiding large and small organizations in education, healthcare, social services and the arts by helping them build their short- and long-term fundraising capacity through pre-campaign studies, campaign counsel, development assessments and more.

Laura serves the fundraising profession as an instructor for the University of Washington’s Fundraising Management Certificate program and as past president of her local AFP chapter. She also serves her community as a Trustee of the Annie Wright Schools.
