Celebrating Our Clients: Changemaker Spotlights 2023

Alford Group consultants highlight four fundraising professionals from client teams who inspire us through their dedication to their work and their cultivation of Joyful Connections.

Who is a Changemaker?

Changemakers are the fundraisers, leaders and thinkers in client organizations who motivate us to live up to our values. This holiday season, Alford Group consultants put our heads together to nominate four individuals who we believe exhibit an outstanding commitment to advancing their organization’s mission with special attention to fostering Joyful Connections in their relationships with their teams, donors and the communities they serve.

Here are our nominees for 2023:

Nicole Robinson, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago

Alford Group consultants nominate the fierce advocacy and work of Nicole R Robinson at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. Nicole serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, a human-centered organization dedicated to empowering women and eliminating racism. As a fierce advocate for women, girls and justice, Nicole is inspired by the resilience of the families who turn to YWCA for family supports, economic opportunities and collective healing. Her consultant team members say: “Nicole’s enthusiasm for her work is contagious and permeates everything she does. She brings her whole self to the job, and the outcomes are inspiring. Nicole is a leader in the field and a shining example of the change we need for our youth.”

We celebrate the wonderful work of team members on the development staff (Alicia Sullivan, Kimberley Williams, Skyla Wilson and Colin Puckett) at Save the Sound for their compassion, humility, and dedication to leading environmental action in the Long Island Sound region.
