Giving USA Report Details
First published in 1956, Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy is the longest running, most comprehensive report on philanthropy in the United States. It is researched and written by the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. The Giving USA 2024 will be released on June 25th by The Giving Institute.  Alford Group is a longtime supporter of Giving USA and member of The Giving Institute. President and CEO Brenda B. Alexis Cooke, Chief Operating Officer at Alford Group has over 20 years of experience working with nonprofits. Alexis has supported trustees and overarching institutional priorities; worked to promote programs and mission-forward projects; built development operations and managed individual, corporate, foundation and annual giving portfolios.

Sharon Tiknis, Chief Client Experience Officer at Alford Group has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 35 years, developing philanthropic programs and assembling influential volunteer leaders to build organizational capacity and drive results. Her work as an executive and consultant spans all sectors and has resulted in bold strategies and raising hundreds of millions of dollars to meet community needs.

Tycely Williams, Chief Development Officer at Bipartisan Policy Center is a Certified Fundraising Executive, and in her more than 20-year career she has inspired individuals and institutions to invest more than $100 million dollars in charitable causes.

 

Marco Corona, Senior Development Officer at Southern Environmental Law Center builds crucial relationships between donors and SELC, stewarding and strengthening these bonds to increase major gifts. In particular, he connects individuals in South Carolina and California to SELC. Marco brings over 17 years of experience as a fundraiser and a dozen years in executive/leadership roles.

Jennifer Lackey, Chief Development Officer at Food Bank of the Rockies brings over 25 years of development experience including leadership positions at Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation, Dumb Friends League, and Project Angel Heart. Jennifer is passionate about connecting donors and volunteers with the issues they care about to impact change. Jennifer has a B.F.A. and holds a Master of Public Administration.
