America’s response to the COVID pandemic over the last few years and the pandemic’s coinciding economic repercussions have changed the landscape of philanthropy in America. Giving USA Report Details

First published in 1956, Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy is the longest running, most comprehensive report on philanthropy in the United States. It is researched and written by the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. The Giving USA 2023 report was recently released by The Giving Institute. Alford Group is a longtime supporter of Giving USA and member of The Giving Institute.

Presenters

Michelle Bibbs brings 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, having served in several development director, grant maker, board member, faculty and volunteer roles at a variety of organizations. At Alford Group, Michelle has advised organizations in building fundraising capacity, strategic planning, campaign planning and implementation, and more.

 

Jaron Bernstein, MBA, brings a decade of nonprofit experience in arts and culture, affordable housing, community development and human services. Notably, Jaron began his career at Writers Theatre outside Chicago, leading corporate and foundation fundraising while the organization undertook a $35-million capital campaign to construct a new facility.
